These artworks are literally a couple of years in the making as i started them back in 2020.
Amazing to think how much i have grown as an artist as i really didn’t like the old artworks anymore. So rather than completely painting over them i left about 5% of the old artworks which you can see some dots and markings through the many layers. I added many more layers of texture, decoupage tinted transparency and added gold foiling. Ta Da…
And in tribute to the incredible Aussie icon Olivia Newtown John- I have called the duo ‘Greased Lightnin’’
Can be hung Portrait or Landscape as the clever signature and hanging wires allow for both.
Original was painted on canvas with acrylic paint, impasto mediums with metallic accents.
